The most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.

Bridge: The MMHZ is a direct replacement for the original Music Man bass pickup. This pickup is passive (without internal pre-amp) and features a dual-coil design for low noise and plenty of output. Neck: The SJHZ pickup uses a stacked design with ceramic magnets and a laminated steel core for increased output and lower noise.

Schecter Custom String Thru
This Massive Schecter bridge uniquely allows the player to tailor string tension and 'feel', with the choice of traditional 'top load' stringing, thru-body, or a combination of both!  Thru body stringing increases string tension and clarity, which is popular with player's tuning below standard 'A' 440.
